Common Area Maintenance refers to the costs of operating, maintaining, repairing, and servicing areas or systems used by multiple tenants, as defined by the lease. CAM may include landscaping, janitorial, security, parking areas, common utilities, repairs, and management or administrative charges, subject to exclusions and caps.
