Asset Register
An asset register records assets and links each identifier to information such as location, condition, and supporting records.
An asset register is an organized record of assets an organization owns or is responsible for. Each asset has an identifier that connects it to descriptive information, such as its location, condition, and supporting records.
For building maintenance, the register can organize equipment and systems into a hierarchy so a work record refers to the intended item. It provides asset identity and context; a list of assets alone does not verify their current condition.
