Mean Time to Repair
Mean time to repair is total measured repair duration divided by the number of repairs, using consistent start and end points.
Mean time to repair is the average duration required to repair failed equipment or restore a failed system within a defined set of repair events. Calculate it by dividing the total measured repair duration by the number of repairs included.
State the reporting period and when the measurement starts and ends. Including diagnosis, waiting time, or restoration checks differently can change the result, so comparisons require consistent measurement boundaries.
